For Those I've Commissioned...

                                                         Greetings!

If you're reading this, that means that I have commissioned you on deviantART! This here is to get a basic idea of who you're working with. I will first list a few things that I feel are important or need to be out in the open. After that, I will have descriptions and a few sample pictures of my characters, Velvet and Peppermint (all artwork is copyrighted to the artists, whose names and deviantART pages will be posted under each picture).

1. Media: I prefer that all commissions be done in traditional media (Pencil, Ink, colored pencils, markers, etc.) so that I can have the original piece. If a piece is done in traditional media, I will pay for shipping of the piece. If a commission is done in digital media (Using the computer), I ask that a print be sent to me. I will also pay for shipping for prints.

2. Payment: For me (and many of you artists out there) Pay-Pal is the easiest form of payment. I will, however, make exceptions for a piece that I really like and send a money-order (if the artist resides in the U.S., Canada or U.K.). If preferred by the artist, I can also give them a subscription to deviantART instead.

3. Copyrights: As an artist myself, I know fully well of how much any piece of artwork means to its creator. I will never post a commissioned piece on another website without giving full credit to the artist! If I do post a piece done by you, it's probably because I really liked it and am using it as a reference pic for other artists who I may commission in the future. Your deviantART username will be posted, as well as a link to your deviantART page. If you wish to do a piece of work using my character(s), I have absolutely no problem with that, in fact, I would be honored. All I ask is that credit is given to me for the character.

4. Adult Commissions: Very rarely do I ask for an adult commission of one of my characters. I will never, EVER ask a minor (anyone under the age of 18) to do an adult commission for me, no matter how much I like their artwork. I never ask for anything downright pornographic, so rest easy friends!

5. What Happens To Your Art?: Chances are, if I have commissioned you, I wanted a piece for my very own! That means that after I receive it, your art doesn't just lay around and collect dust! The piece will most likely be framed and hung on my wall.
